Clients who were looking to book virtual events in 2020 usually had no concrete starting point – it was many of their first time organizing a 100% virtual event and most of the participants had never attended a guided happy hour via a platform like Teams or Zoom.
Goal
The goal of these presentations was to give a potential Best Shot Co. client a short deck that could help them make an informed choice of class type that would also fit in their company budget. It was imperative that the copy and design got them excited about booking a class without becoming overwhelmed by the logistics that goes into managing an alcohol-related event.
Execution
I designed these decks with two assumptions in mind: 1) my clients and their guests were not likely to have an institutional knowledge of classic cocktails 2) my clients would need a deck that would present the class as an option that would get quick, easy approval from their bosses and budget managers.
The primary message of the content was that the Best Shot Co. virtual cocktail class was an ice breaker/cultural support option that would be budget-friendly for companies and exciting for their employees. The copy was focused on the ease and simplicity of the class while the design featured photos and intentional negative space to avoid overwhelming guests with too much content.
Results
This presentation deck format was extremely successful in converting inquiries about classes into paid work. 99% of corporate clients who were sent a presentation deck in this format signed contracts for event booking.
